Friends of the late Kim Sae-ron are writing a statement following the press conference of Kim Soo-hyun.
The TV Chosun program 'Incident File 24,' which aired on the 1st, quoted a lawyer for the bereaved family saying, "We were hoping for a sincere apology from Kim Soo-hyun, but it is disappointing that there was no apology directed at the bereaved family."
It continued, "There are about eight friends who know that the deceased was in a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun since her minor years. Friends who watched Kim Soo-hyun's press conference are feeling frustrated and are writing a statement that they may make public."

'Incident File 24' reported, "According to the bereaved family's lawyer, it would have been better if Kim Soo-hyun had made a statement acknowledging 'there were good feelings since her minor years, but I remember the normal relationship only after reaching adulthood,' but we do not understand why he is denying it so much."
Meanwhile, the late Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on Feb. 16. After the funeral, the bereaved family claimed through the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute (abbreviated as Gaseyeon) that the deceased had dated actor Kim Soo-hyun for six years, starting when she was 15.
Additionally, despite the deceased experiencing financial difficulties after ceasing activities following a drunk driving accident in 2022, the agency reportedly pressured her to repay the 700 million won borrowed to manage the incident.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, denied the claims as "clear falsehoods that cannot be tolerated," but amidst the ongoing revelations, they changed their statement, acknowledging the relationship, saying, "Kim Sae-ron and I dated from the summer of 2019, after she became an adult, until fall 2020."
However, regarding the content of the notification related to the repayment of 700 million won, the agency explained, "If we were to arbitrarily bear the penalty that Kim Sae-ron should bear, it could lead to the agency's executives being accused of breach of trust, and there was a concern that the related expenses would not be recognized as deductible by the company. It had to be confirmed that we were making efforts to secure our claim against Kim Sae-ron."
In response to Kim Soo-hyun's denial of a relationship during her minor years, Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family held a press conference and publicly disclosed KakaoTalk evidence and the deceased's handwritten letters to prove the relationship. However, Kim Soo-hyun stated, "I did not have a relationship with the deceased when she was a minor," directly denying the allegations.
Additionally, Kim Soo-hyun's side announced that they have filed a lawsuit against the bereaved family of Kim Sae-ron, an unidentified individual, and the operator of 'Gaseyeon' for defamation due to the spread of false information via communication networks, and have initiated a lawsuit seeking damages of 12 billion won.
