While Kai of EXO revealed that he stayed off social media during his two years of service as a social service worker, positive comments from those who worked with him continued.

On the 1st, a new video titled "114 secrets you didn’t know about Kai" was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Salon Drip 2’.

On this day, Kai said, "For two years, I lived as Kim Jongin, not Kai. When I was living as Kai, I was too busy living day by day and lived intentionally as Kim Jongin." He explained, "Since I usually start work at 9 a.m., I commuted by bicycle and bus. I served at a dementia center, so when the teachers were busy, I also took care of the elderly.

He continued, "I had to get special leave, so I did my best. Later, I received five days of special leave. I had to set a good example for others and receive excellent reviews, and I accomplished that," adding, "It’s one of my proud moments. Even if it wasn't my job, I did the dishes and cleaning.

Hearing this, Jang Doyoun praised, "You're so tidy. A model youth, you’ve really blended well as Kim Jongin," and Kai noted, "I've received a lot of affection. Now you'll be able to watch ‘Salon Drip’ as well." On his last day of service, he did everything asked regarding photos and signatures. He mentioned, "At the end, when I did everything, they asked, 'Who are you to take photos?' When I said I was a singer, they suggested we take a photo.

Particularly towards the end of the broadcast, Kai greeted, "How are the elderly doing? This is Kim Jongin. I hope you don't forget the memories we shared together. I enjoyed being with the elderly, and I miss you." He said, "I've grown quite attached; since I don't have lunch breaks, it must be lonely, so I’ll bring coffee and drop by," adding, "I hope to invite you to a concert later. I want to show my moment as 'Kai' in my main career, and I want to invite you.

After the video of Kai was released, those who seemed to have been with him during his time as a social service worker have been leaving comments, drawing attention. One netizen said, "Jongin, is that real in the opening? It’s busy, so why would you come? You don’t have to come with heavy hands~ You’re fine," adding, "Our Jongin worked diligently and sincerely, just as in his interview. Please support him a lot in the future."

Another netizen commented, "I am someone who served with him as a social service worker. I can definitely say that he served with sincerity for a long time. Not only to the staff but also to the elderly visitors, he was always kind, and from the first day I started as a social service worker until the day of my dismissal, I only have good memories. I will support his new album."

Additionally, comments such as, "I first met him at the center and lived together like regular people, then seeing him here as a real celebrity is amazing. It depends on how one thinks even if we are doing the same work in the same space, but I’m thankful he expressed it beautifully and amusingly. The Jongin I saw was responsible even in small tasks, insightful, and always actively kind to our elderly folks. I think he would have succeeded in whatever he did, not just as a singer. Congratulations on returning to the entertainment industry, and I'll always support you," and, "I saw Kai a few times while he was serving, and he’s really kind... he was friendly and treated the elderly well, and I wanted to let many EXO-Ls know. Always stay healthy and happy."

Meanwhile, Kai began his service as a social service worker in May 2023 and was discharged on February 10th. He will release his fourth mini-album ‘Wait On Me’ on the 21st at 6 p.m. across various music sites.
