Singer Lee Hyori revealed her know-how for getting along well with her husband Lee Sang-soon without fighting.

Lee Hyori appeared as a guest on KBS Radio Cool FM's 'Oh My Girl Hyojeong's Volume Up' broadcast on the afternoon of the 2nd. It was an appearance to support singer-songwriter Maybe, who stepped in as a special DJ for the 30th anniversary.

That day, Lee Hyori and Maybe met for the first time in six years and shared greetings and updates about each other. Lee Hyori, while seeing Maybe stepping in as a DJ after a long time, mentioned her husband Lee Sang-soon, who is currently hosting the radio show, saying, "I thought I could go back quickly since I’m on from 2 to 4 p.m. But I realized I had to take out two hours before and after. I learned that DJs usually have a tough time."

Additionally, Lee Hyori and Maybe introduced a listener's story about married life and mentioned their know-how for getting along without fighting. Lee Hyori noted, "It's not exactly lovey-dovey, but we're getting along well without fighting," to which Maybe responded, "I feel the same. There are only the two of us. It feels more and more like we're isolating ourselves."

Maybe said, "We feel the same way. Since my husband doesn't go out much either, we become friends. We talk about everything, and there’s nothing we can’t discuss. We have so much fun together that we don't meet other friends, so I think I stay home even more."

Lee Hyori responded, "That's right. It seems to be happening more and more," recalling, "In the past, I had carefree friends like me who would invite me out and we would go out and see the world."

Lee Hyori then stated, "What’s the know-how for avoiding fights? I haven't fought much," adding, "Don't marry someone you think might start a fight in the first place."

Lee Hyori shared, "But I’ve had times in relationships when I fought a lot. Back then, I wondered, 'Is there something wrong with my personality? Why do I fight so much? Can I live well after marriage?' But it varies from person to person. Some people provoke me, while others calm me down. I thought compatibility is important."

Lee Hyori has been living in Jeju since marrying Lee Sang-soon there in 2013. Recently, the two arranged their life in Jeju and made headlines after purchasing a house in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, for 6 billion won in cash.
