Former Big Bang member Seungri is reportedly exploring new business opportunities in China.

On the 2nd, a media outlet reported that Seungri left for China last month to seek another business venture.

According to sources in the entertainment industry, Seungri still has a great interest in the entertainment business and is known to be exploring various ventures, although he currently has no specific plans.

Another source noted that Seungri has indeed cut ties with the Big Bang members but is still on good terms with other acquaintances and is discussing business.

Previously, Seungri was spotted at a club in Hangzhou, China, drawing attention, but faced a wave of strong criticism from Chinese netizens.

Earlier, Seungri was identified as a key figure in the 'Burning Sun incident' that erupted in 2018, sparking social controversy. He was subsequently sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison on charges including facilitating prostitution for investors, violating foreign exchange laws, embezzlement, and illegal overseas gambling totaling 2 billion won.

After being released in February 2023, Seungri's updates from abroad have been revealed several times, each accompanied by controversy. Even after his release, he has drawn frowns for enjoying parties with famous celebrities around the world without reflecting on or showing remorse for his past.

He has also faced criticism for mentioning Big Bang members while singing their songs, showing that he is still leveraging Big Bang's fame, and recently, several instances of him being in the company of women in the country were publicly revealed.
