On the broadcast of TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me' on April 1, actor Park Han-byul, who returned to the screen after a six-year hiatus, appeared alongside her father, a former soccer coach. They shared their daily life in Jeju Island, where they have been living together away from the mainland, as well as the difficult times they endured over the past six years. MC Jeon Hyun-moo, Lee Seung-yeon, Subin, Lee Geon-joo, and Lim Hyun-sik were also present at the event.

In this regard, Park Han-byul remembered, "My father was having a hard time. He would drink every night and call, sighing deeply. Even without saying a word, I could feel his pain from his breath."

And Park Han-byul reported that in 2019, all her advertisements and casting fell through, and strangers came to her home where she was alone with her child, saying, "Every day felt like hell." Despite the suggestions from those around her to get a divorce, she could not take her family away from her child, who had done nothing wrong. She wept, stating, "I made the best choice as a mother." She continued, explaining, "The reason I valued family the most and made that choice is because, although the children may not understand now, they will surely feel it when they grow up." Lee Seung-yeon deeply empathized, saying, "The thoughts that come while giving birth and raising a child seem similar. I think the role of a mother is to live well and show it to them."

Park Han-byul, who married former Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In-seok in 2017, had halted her activities due to controversies surrounding the Burning Sun incident.
