Viu is collaborating with Azuki to expand its Web3-focused content initiative.

On the 2nd, Asia's largest regional OTT platform Viu announced a collaboration with Azuki, an animation-based IP corporation leading Web3 content, planning to begin streaming Azuki's trilogy series "Enter the Garden" on the Viu platform starting in April.

"Enter the Garden" is a series featuring creative producer Taniguchi Goro, well known for works such as "Code Geass" and "One Piece Film: Red," showcasing an immersive story and high-quality visuals for both Web3 and animation fans.

Lofai Lo, COO of Viu, noted, "We are very excited to embark on this journey with Azuki, a corporation with a strong digital presence. By consolidating the Web3 ecosystem and entertainment, we can satisfy the changing tastes of today's engaging audience."

Alex Xu, CEO of Azuki, stated, "Through our collaboration with Viu, we have been able to introduce 'Enter the Garden' to Viu's global audience in 16 markets and further strengthen Azuki's position."

In addition, Viu plans to showcase a spinoff digital webtoon based on three kinds of Azuki community NFTs through the TN7 platform. TN7 is Viu's first digital webtoon series and a content universe where fans can participate in the creation.

Meanwhile, Viu, a popular OTT platform in Hong Kong operated by PCCW, is currently broadcasting content such as "The Art of Negotiation" and "Crushology 101" in 16 countries, including Asia, the Middle East, and Southern Africa, with new series like "Way Back Love," "Boys & Bunnies," and "My Youth" set to launch. The fan meeting project "Viu Scream Dates" has also allowed Jung Haein, Cha Eunwoo, and Jang Ki Yong to meet local fans.
