Mr. Hwang of 'NaSolSaGye' reported health issues.

Mr. Hwang posted a message on his personal SNS on 31st saying, “Hello. I am Mr. Hwang who appeared in NaSolSaGye DolSingMinBak. Recently, there have been many sudden occurrences, so I have shaved my head with the help of 10th generation Yeong-ja.”

He further stated, “I had a lump near my collarbone for two years, and recently it began to grow larger suddenly, so I was advised to undergo an ultrasound examination. The shape did not look good, and I was told to prepare for chemotherapy, so I went to a higher-level hospital for treatment. During the consultation at the higher-level hospital, it seemed like I had blood cancer, and I was advised that I should quickly start pre-chemo tests and chemotherapy, so I ended up shaving my head.”

In January, Mr. Hwang appeared on 'NaSolSaGye' and chose 'NaSol' 10th generation Yeong-ja. However, the 10th generation Yeong-ja became the final couple with Mr. Heuk-gim. After the 'NaSolSaGye' broadcast ended, in a behind-the-scenes video released on the YouTube channel, the 10th generation Yeong-ja caught attention as she appeared in couple hanbok with Mr. Hwang.

In the video, the 10th generation Yeong-ja stated that after filming, she kept in touch with Mr. Heuk-gim but ended up breaking up. She accepted Mr. Hwang's affection and started dating, proudly mentioning that they have been doing well together so far. They have displayed their affection on their respective social media but suddenly revealed the unfortunate news of their battle with illness.

Mr. Hwang explained, “According to the opinions of various doctors, it was blood cancer, but the overall tissue tests came back normal, and I had to undergo surgery to perform an excisional biopsy to remove the tumor area. If the tissue test comes back normal again this time, it seems that biopsies of other areas will be carried out to remove the tissues.”

He also mentioned, “It seems like there are many tissues around my neck that look like cancer on ultrasound and CT scans. I hope it’s not cancer, but the situation doesn’t seem very hopeful.” He added, “I ask for a lot of support and encouragement.”
