International relief and development NGO World Vision (Chairman Jo Myung-hwan) announced that it donated 10 million won to help disaster victims affected by large forest fires in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions, including World Vision ambassador Jo Hye-ryeon and actors from the play "I Love You, Mom," Kim Ji-sun, Kim Hyo-jin, and Jung Ga-eun.

The donation will be used entirely, according to the actors of the play "I Love You, Mom," for ▲ emergency relief supplies support, ▲ emergency living expenses and support for appliances and furniture, and ▲ programs for psychological and emotional recovery for children and residents in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions.

Jo Hye-ryeon said, "I cannot even imagine the pain and loss that the disaster victims are enduring due to unprecedented forest fires," noting, "It is heartbreaking, and the actors and staff of the play 'I Love You, Mom,' including Kim Ji-sun, Kim Hyo-jin, and Jung Ga-eun, decided to donate together, and I hope they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."

Joseph Ko, representative of Joy Cultures, said, "We aim to give back the love we received through theater by coming together with the actors and staff to help the victims of the forest fires."

Chairman Jo Myung-hwan of World Vision expressed his sincere gratitude to Jo Hye-ryeon, the ambassador, as well as the actors Kim Ji-sun, Kim Hyo-jin, Jung Ga-eun, and the staff of the play "I Love You, Mom," for their assistance to the disaster victims who lost their homes overnight, stating that "World Vision will also do its utmost to support the victims so they can recover as quickly as possible."

World Vision is conducting immediate emergency relief for children and residents who are in crisis due to large forest fires that broke out in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions starting from the 21st. So far, 1,000 blankets have been urgently provided to residents in the Sancheong area of Gyeongnam and the Uiseong area of Gyeongbuk, and 1,000 emergency relief kits worth 120,000 won each are scheduled to be distributed to residents of both regions on the 31st. Additionally, plans are being made to support emergency living expenses and appliances for low-income families, as well as programs for psychological and emotional recovery for children and residents.
