Dynamic Duo has joined the donation movement.
The global children’s rights non-governmental organization Good Neighbors noted that singer Dynamic Duo donated 30 million won to assist residents and children affected by wildfires in Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk on 1st.
The donated funds will be used for emergency relief activities currently underway in the wildfire-affected areas. Good Neighbors is conducting emergency relief activities worth 3.5 billion won for over 10,000 households in the wildfire-affected areas of Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk.
Emergency relief items, including clothing, are being provided to evacuee shelters, and school supplies, daily necessities, and emergency living expenses are being supported for children’s families in the affected areas. Furthermore, there are plans to provide psychological treatment and counseling for children experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties due to the disaster.
With this donation, singer Dynamic Duo is expected to be registered in the Good Neighbors special membership group called "The Neighbors Club." The Neighbors Club is a group that realizes values beyond donations and leads the spread of a donation culture through special sharing activities among members who contribute more than 10 million won annually.
Singer Dynamic Duo said, "I want to at least provide a small help to those suffering from wildfire damage," and expressed hope that "the affected areas will recover quickly and the local residents will be able to regain their peaceful daily lives."
Kim Joong-gon, secretary-general of Good Neighbors, said, "I am grateful to Dynamic Duo for sharing their hearts through donations to help residents in wildfire-affected areas return to their daily lives," adding, "Good Neighbors will continue to provide the most needed support to families and children affected by the disaster through rapid emergency relief activities."
