As the K-pop industry has a global fandom, Thailand is a major market in Southeast Asia and is home to K-pop idols who are still actively promoting. In addition to Lisa, various K-pop idols comforted local fans.

The earthquake damage was triggered by a magnitude 7.7 earthquake that occurred in central Myanmar on the 28th. This caused damage not only in Myanmar but also in neighboring Southeast Asian countries.

Especially in Thailand, a tragedy occurred when a 30-story building under construction in the capital, Bangkok, collapsed. According to foreign media reports, 117 construction workers on site were buried, and 5 were reported dead.
