Kian’s Bizarre B&B invites viewers to an unimaginable delightful experience.
Set to be released worldwide on April 8, 2025, Kian’s Bizarre B&B is an extraordinary new concept of a guesthouse variety show featuring Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun interacting with guests at a romantic guesthouse on Ulleungdo. It offers unpredictable laughter and fun that viewers never expected.
Producer Jung Hyo-min and writer Yoon Shin-hye, who pioneered the guesthouse variety genre through 'Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast,' teamed up with Kian84, known for their raw honesty, to create a guesthouse called Kianjang that promises laughter, emotion, empathy, and bewilderment. The irreplaceable owner Kian84, the all-rounder ‘jack-of-all-trades’ BTS’s Jin, and the essential youngest captain Ji Ye-eun lead a chaotic yet exciting guesthouse operation that is a must-see highlight of Kian’s Bizarre B&B.
Above all, there is hot anticipation for Kianjang, where Kian's imagination is concentrated from design to layout. As the veil is lifted, curiosity is piqued, and the preview stills showcasing Kianjang promise an experience beyond imagination.
First, the visual of Kianjang, situated over the vast seas of Ulleungdo with real-time sea fishing and a water park, raises anticipation levels. Additionally, the exclusive ‘boat pickup service’ directly operated by Captain Ji Ye-eun is an intriguing point. The check-in process is also unique. At Kianjang, which brims with romance over the sea, the first welcome for guests is a 3.8-meter high rocky entrance. The entrance is a climbing wall while the exit is a slide, offering a uniquely thrilling experience. Although there is no traditional entrance, the spectacular rock climbing stairs are expected to deliver a delightful experience from check-in onward.
It may be rigorous and extraordinary, but it is filled with Kian's romantic charm that cannot be experienced anywhere else. The open-air bed that changes its scenery from day to night offers the ‘romance’ of falling asleep under a starry sky, and on rainy days, guests can enjoy a refreshing morning call from nature. Moreover, the direct sea slide and a gym that trains physical strength with the sound of waves are exclusive to Kianjang. Additionally, the variety of activities enjoyed in Ulleungdo’s beautiful nature guarantees not only satisfaction for guests but also vicarious pleasure for viewers. Finally, the kitchen, which can only be accessed by ‘catching the bag,’ is a highlight that further piques curiosity.

We wanted to create a ‘one-of-a-kind’ guesthouse where Kian84's imagination is maximally realized. It will be a place to encounter extraordinary experiences and memories.' They emphasized, 'It was important to implement Kian’s ideas ‘as they are,’ but ‘safely.’ We secured safety while preserving the basic shape and core fun of the facilities designed by Kian.'
Kianjang family members Kian84, BTS’s Jin, and Ji Ye-eun also expressed their surprise at the realization of Kianjang, stating, 'It was amazing.'
Kianjang creator Kian84 said, 'I thought, ‘Did they really make this?’ The production team really pulled it off, and I thought it was no small feat. I can still vividly remember the air and scent of Kianjang floating in the night sea.' Jin remarked, 'I was shocked by how livable the space was. It was a fresh shock to the extent that I thought, ‘this is talent.’ I think it would be great to come here when life feels mundane and tiring, or when you want to experience a life similar to that of Mr. Kian.' Ji Ye-eun also expressed, 'I was so surprised I was speechless. It was shocking and different from what I imagined. Kianjang is literally bizarre, and it's a place where everyone must collaborate to live.'
Meanwhile, the new concept guesthouse variety Kian’s Bizarre B&B will be exclusively available on Netflix starting April 8, 2025. A total of nine episodes will be released over three weeks, with the first three being aired in the first week, followed by three episodes each subsequent week.
