Singer and actress Bibi (Kim Hyung-seo) expressed her distress over misconceptions of an extramarital affair.
On the 12th, a video titled "Is this going to air? A spicy talk from the representative hot chicken of the entertainment industry that is simply overwhelming" was uploaded to the 'Pixid' channel.
That day, Bibi appeared as a guest on 'Star! Cooking Room' and cooked alongside (G)I-DLE's So-yeon. During the cooking session, So-yeon said, "Isn't it often heard that the lyrics are provocative? I'm really curious about that. I can't remember the word," expressing her struggle.
In response, Bibi immediately asked, "Extramarital affair?" to which So-yeon answered, "That's right." Bibi released a song titled 'Extramarital Affair' through her first regular album 'Lowlife Princess: Noir,' which was released in November 2022.
Bibi expressed her grievance, saying, "No, this isn't really an extramarital affair; there's been a lot of talk, like 'Could it be an extramarital affair?' It feels like that. Why would I be with a man who has a girlfriend...?"
So-yeon also empathized, saying, "We have a song called 'Wife' among our tracks. That song has a sexual feeling in the lyrics. So I really get asked if it's a personal story a lot," and Bibi added, "Isn't it the case? For example, when watching a movie with a murderer, wouldn't you think they didn't really commit murder?" earning strong agreement from So-yeon.
He expressed his regrets, saying, "But why can't we write those kinds of things in music? Can't we be allowed to do it too?" So-yeon responded, "Right. I can't say anything. I guess everyone assumes it's all experience. We actually want to write songs on various topics like filmmakers, don't we?" Bibi also added, "We can only do what we've experienced."
