Choo Sung-hoon revealed that he and his wife manage money separately.

In the first episode of the new ENA variety program 'Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young, I Missed You,' which aired on the 8th, Choo Sung-hoon and Bae Jung-nam appeared as guests.

Choo Sung-hoon showed his love for unique accessories. He noted, "I got my earrings when I was 48," saying that he gave himself a self-gift every time he won a match. Choi Hwa-jung asked him what romantic gifts he had given his wife, and Choo Sung-hoon replied, "I have given her many rings and bracelets."

Bae Jung-nam revealed, "The first iPhone was launched in Canada. I heard that you give a birthday gift and receive money in return." After momentarily surprising Choo Sung-hoon, he said, "I went to Canada, and my wife asked me to buy one for her too. I bought two and went to Japan. When I said it costs 1.5 million won, she asked for my bank account number. She sent me the money. This is how we do things. For non-gift items, we receive money. I also give money when I ask the opposite."

Choi Hwa-jung asked if it was a Japanese cultural thing, and Choo Sung-hoon replied, "We actually find it more convenient and clean to do so," adding that they each manage their own finances without knowing how much each other's assets are. Choo Sung-hoon stated, "All expenses for shopping come out of my own money," noting that he pays for their living expenses.

When asked if they give and receive birthday gifts, Choo Sung-hoon said, "It's been a long time since we've done that. The things we want aren't that big, and if we have a meal together, that's it. Even our wedding anniversary just passes with a meal." Choi Hwa-jung laughed, saying, "You really are the perfect lodger."
