Chef Yoon Nam-no shared the filming experience of 'Jungle Food 2 - Caribbean.'
On the afternoon of the 27th, a press conference for the new entertainment program 'Jungle Food 2' was held at the SBS headquarters in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. The press conference featured Han Bi-in, PD Ryu Ji-hwan, as well as Ryu Soo-young, Choi Hyun-seok, Kim Ok-bin, Choi Daniel, Yoon Nam-no, and Lee Joon who participated in discussions.
'Jungle Food' is a program that tells the story of cooking and eating using ingredients that can only be found in the jungle, while interacting with locals. Season 2 features food stories set against the backdrop of Peru, the land of the Incas, and the emerald Caribbean.
This season will showcase a strong chef lineup, including 'Jungle Food' head chef Ryu Soo-young, along with Choi Hyun-seok, Yoon Nam-no, and new food friends Choi Daniel, Kim Ok-bin, and Lee Joon, promising entertainment and chemistry. Additionally, in the studio, Jeon Hyun-moo, Din Din, and Heo Young-ji will join to enrich the program.
On this day, Chef Yoon Nam-no reflected on the challenges of 'Caribbean Food' compared to the airing 'Peru Food,' saying, "In fact, if I compare it to 'Peru Food,' I have nothing to say. Chef Choi Hyun-seok even showed his bug bite marks. Compared to that, it feels like a free tour." He added, "I personally had severe motion sickness, so I reminisced that I lost my sense of self while feeling nauseous this time."
He continued, "I said, 'Forget about the appearance fees and send me back to Korea,' but I have no memory of it at all. Nevertheless, compared to 'Peru Food,' we came to play." In response, Chef Choi Hyun-seok said, "There is also motion sickness in 'Peru Food.' You will know if you watch it."
Moreover, Yoon Nam-no noted that the night before the press conference, he looked at photos taken during the filming of 'Caribbean Food,' saying, "I saw the photos and dishes I took in the Caribbean yesterday, and looking back, I realize that I was really happy during the filming. I remember the happy faces while eating what I made."
He also mentioned, "I have many memories of the kitchen being cramped, and when I returned to Korea, I found 100 ant carcasses in my knife bag. I sanitized them all and was surprised. I even changed my knife bag. They came along on the same plane with me." This has raised curiosity about what will be conveyed in the upcoming 'Caribbean Food.'
Meanwhile, SBS 'Jungle Food 2 - Peru Food' will air its first episode today at 9 p.m.
