Actor Jung Soo-bin delivers a flawless performance in 'It's okay, it's okay, it's okay!'
The film 'It's okay, it's okay, it's okay!' depicts the story of people who are clumsy alone but are okay together as they seek each other's happiness. Before its domestic release, it received love calls from 50 countries worldwide, and it proved its solid quality by winning the Generation K Plus Crystal Bear award at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival, becoming the first Korean film to do so.
Jung Soo-bin plays the role of Nari, the artistic troupe rival of In-young (played by Lee Rae). Notably, Nari has never placed lower than first in the artistic troupe and is a perennial center. As a teenager receiving much attention, Jung Soo-bin is expected to draw empathy from the audience by delicately portraying the sensitivity felt by peers.
Since the film deals with the life of a dancer, Jung Soo-bin devoted two months to intense dance practice before filming to enhance the character's authenticity. She focused not only on mimicking movements but also on effectively expressing the character's emotions through the use of various props and expressive acting.
During the production presentation, Jung Soo-bin noted, "Rather than saying 'It's okay' alone, I feel empowered to put an exclamation point on 'It's okay!' when someone asks if I'm okay. I have people with me, so I am okay and can be happy. I hope everyone will be happy." She urged the audience to gain a message of support through the film.
Jung Soo-bin, who is active across screens, TV, and OTT platforms, has surged as an indispensable 'expected star of 2025.' The film 'It's okay, it's okay, it's okay!' featuring Jung Soo-bin was released nationwide today (26th).
