Akmu's Suhyun will join the 'Nangjeongsun Band.'
On the 27th, Akmu's (AKMU) Lee Suhyun will officially join the band formation project 'Nangjeongsun Band' from MMTG. However, she will not be in a vocal position.
Last month, Jaejae, Kwon Eunbi, and Choi Yena came together as 'Nangjeongsun Band' for MMTG. Those searching for a new vocal member succeeded in recruiting Akmu's (AKMU) Lee Suhyun after much back and forth. However, unexpectedly, Lee Suhyun will be taking on a completely different role instead of being the vocalist, resulting in an unforeseen twist.
'Nang(Man)jeong(Yeol)sun(Jung) Band' is a female rock band formed as a hobby by Jaejae on drums, Kwon Eunbi on guitar, and Choi Yena on BASS. Through repeated rehearsals, they realized how difficult it is to play instruments and sing vocals simultaneously. Consequently, they have been struggling for the past month to find a guest vocalist.
In this process, they met Wonhee of group Ailet, chef Jeong Jiseon, known as the 'Cat Goddess Greatest of All Time,' and actor Shim Eunkyung, who is a rock enthusiast, but ultimately could not find a suitable member. Therefore, hoping against hope, Jaejae spent over a month persuading Akmu's (AKMU) Lee Suhyun, culminating in a dramatic encounter.
Meanwhile, it is rumored that upon seeing the practice skills of the Nangjeongsun Band on-site, Lee Suhyun was left in shock. However, unexpectedly, she decided to join on the spot, surprising everyone. Additionally, it has been reported that Lee Suhyun will take on a new role rather than being the vocalist, which has heightened curiosity.
Following the success of last year's 'Jaesbi' project, much anticipation is building for the new 'Nangjeongsun Band' this year.
