TWICE's Dahyun shared her thoughts on filming a wedding scene in a movie.
In the episode of SBS PowerFM's 'Wendy's Young Street' that aired on the afternoon of the 26th, TWICE's Dahyun, who made her acting debut through the movie 'The Girl We Loved Back Then,' appeared as a guest.
'The Girl We Loved Back Then,' based on the Taiwanese film of the same name (script adapted by Cho Young-myeong, provided by Film Company Take, produced by Film Company Take and Free Road Pictures, distributed by WYSIWYG STUDIOS and CJ CGV), tells the story of Jinwoo (played by Jinyoung), who spent countless days working up the courage to confess to Seona (played by Dahyun), his first love at eighteen.
On that day, when asked how she felt in the scene wearing a wedding dress, Dahyun said, "I wore a white wedding dress. Although it was filming, I was walking down the (virgin) road and all my friends were there at the wedding hall. It was a bit strange while walking with everyone applauding. It felt like I was really at a wedding. That was the feeling."
Upon hearing this, Wendy exclaimed, "Oh my gosh," and said, "It must have felt so surreal. It must have been weird," making everyone laugh.
Dahyun also mentioned while playing Seona, "I had many conversations with the director. Since it's told from Jinwoo's perspective, there weren't detailed explanations of what happened to Seona, which made me curious while reading the script. I imagined many of Seona's past events and interestingly, the director set MBTI types for each character, and coincidentally, Seona's and my actual MBTI matches. It's ISFJ. Senior Jinyoung also matched his actual MBTI with the MBTI the director assigned to Jinwoo. It was so surprising. The director found it surprising as well," adding, "I think Seona is similar to me in some parts."
Meanwhile, 'The Girl We Loved Back Then' is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
