(Following Interview ①) Actor Han Ji-eun, who starred in 'Ask the Stars,' shared her thoughts on performing romantic scenes, including bed scenes with Lee Min-ho.

Han Ji-eun conducted the interview on the afternoon of the 24th at a cafe in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. During this meeting, she spoke with domestic reporters about her recent activities, including the recently concluded tvN weekend drama 'Ask the Stars' and the Tving original series 'Study Group.'

Among them, 'Ask the Stars,' which concluded the day before on the 23rd, is a romantic comedy drama depicting the life of boss Eve (Gong Hyo-jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and an uninvited guest, Dinosaur (Lee Min-ho), who has a secret mission. In this, Han Ji-eun delivered a stellar performance as the fiancée, MZ Group heiress Choi Go-eun.

Wouldn't the setting of her fiancé Lee Min-ho primarily living in space leave some disappointment in their romance? Han Ji-eun laughed and said, "I want to experience a love that comes together at last." She added, "Min-ho and I are the same age. There weren’t many scenes where we were physically close, but I didn’t feel it much. From the beginning, we did readings and had various gatherings, and we became very comfortable with each other. He has a very down-to-earth personality that makes others feel at ease, so I didn't feel it. Even after a long time apart, it felt like we saw each other just yesterday."

"I didn’t have many opportunities to meet the space team. We unexpectedly ran into each other on the way," he said with a laugh. "As Go-eun, I’m uniquely weak against Ryong in the drama. I’m strong against others. I fight with my dad all the time and curse at Gang-soo all the time. I’m only weak against Ryong. So, what I could do is, when acting with Ryong, I wanted to appear a little more vulnerable in front of him. I thought of myself as someone who wanted to be seen as a woman while also evoking maternal instincts. I tried to act with that feeling in mind," she explained.

Regarding the bed scenes, which elicited mixed reviews in the early stages of the drama, Han Ji-eun stated, "It wasn't as difficult as I thought. It went quite smoothly during filming. From the director to the set, and even Lee Min-ho, everyone was very considerate. We could shoot in a comfortable atmosphere naturally. I didn’t feel that anything was hard when I was acting. The scenes didn’t aim to show simple stimulation. We only thought about how to express our points well, so there were no problems."

Did she not feel upset or disappointed by the critical evaluations that differed from her intentions? Han Ji-eun cautiously added, "I don’t think we can impose perspectives. I hope that diversity is somewhat respected."
