Kim noted on MBC TV's talk show “Radio Star” broadcast on the 25th that he experienced this backlash after revealing his salary slip on the domestic OTT platform Wavve's entertainment program “Bloody Game 3.”

The salary slip shows that former pro-gamer and poker player Hong Jin-ho is listed at 1.5 billion won, with comedian Jang Dong-min and travel YouTuber Pani Bottle at 500 million won each. Kim was on the lower end among the participants.

Chungju Man explained, “Since I am a public servant, you can roughly estimate my salary from the slip. It became a topic when I disclosed on the show that it was 50 million won.”

He continued, “Some people said the amount I receive is small, while others criticized me, asking what I did to deserve 50 million won.”

He lamented, “But among the other participants, there were those with salaries like 1.5 billion won or 500 million won.”

Chungju Man revealed, “After my salary was disclosed, some people cursed at me or got angry. So I was flustered.”

When asked if he felt a sense of disparity due to the salary differences during the filming of “Bloody Game 3,” Chungju Man said, “Honestly, I don't feel it. I don't even think about comparing my revenue with that of other broadcasters when filming with them.”

He then mentioned that he moved from an old apartment where he originally lived to a new place. He boasted, “The lease of the previous apartment ended. Since the contract expired, I moved to a place known as the Gangnam of Chungju.”
