The Netflix animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' original soundtrack (OST) 'Golden' has reached 2nd place on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
According to Billboard's chart forecast article released on the 28th (local time), 'Golden' rose 2 spots from the previous week to the Hot 100. The song, performed by the popular girl group HuntRix from K-Pop Demon Hunters, debuted at 81st on the singles chart earlier this month and has climbed to 23rd, 6th, 4th, and now 2nd place weekly.
Billboard compiles the Hot 100 rankings based on streaming data, airplay, and sales figures. 'Golden' recorded 25.7 million streams during this charting period. Airplay (radio broadcast scores) showed a 109% increase from the previous week, reaching 3.7 million points. Sales stood at 4,000 copies.
'Golden' also topped Billboard's 'Global' and 'Global 200' charts, which exclude the U.S. Following closely was the girl group BLACKPINK's 'JUMP', which took 2nd place on the 'Global' chart and 3rd on the 'Global 200' chart.
In addition, the girl group TWICE's 'STRATEGY' debuted at 92nd on the Hot 100. This marks TWICE's third entry on the Hot 100.
