The Korean Cultural Center in Austria announced on the 19th that it will host the Hallyu Festival 'Inspire Me Korea' at the Donauinselfest, Europe’s largest outdoor music festival, from the 20th to the 22nd.
'Inspire Me Korea' is a major Hallyu festival that the Korean Cultural Center in Austria has been presenting annually since 2022 in collaboration with the Donauinselfest.
This year marks the 4th edition of the event, which will take place in a special area called 'Tourismus Insel,' designed for experiencing cultures from around the world, and on the 'Electronic Music' stage, which accommodates 30,000 seats.
Various genres of Korean artists will perform, including traditional music, pop, jazz, and musicals. This year's lineup includes 'Song So-hee,' a prodigy in traditional music who has established herself as a singer-songwriter, 'Kai,' a leading star in musicals, and the pop band 'W24,' which has gained popularity in Latin America.
In addition to the performances, the Austrian preliminary round of the 'K-Pop World Festival 2025' will take place, where passionate and skilled local K-pop fans will take the stage to showcase dynamic performances through dance and song.
Throughout the festival, various areas will feature Hanbok (traditional Korean attire) experiences and Korean travel information booths, along with a K-food space prepared by the Korean Association in Austria.
