The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is operating a carbon-neutral pop-up experience center in celebration of 'Environment Day' with the popular character 'Janmang Lupi.'

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the 5th, the pop-up experience center, which will operate from today until the 9th, was created to convey the seriousness of the climate crisis in a friendly manner and to increase public interest in practicing carbon-neutral lifestyle habits.

In the pop-up experience center, made of recyclable paper, visitors can directly confirm the environmental problems they might face if they do not practice carbon neutrality.

In the museum's 'Climate Change Exhibition Zone' and 'Food Experience Zone' in 2050, visitors will encounter natural environments and food that may disappear without the practice of carbon neutrality. In the 'Carbon Neutral Game Zone,' participants can discover various carbon-neutral actions through a hidden picture puzzle. In the 'Carbon Neutral Learning Zone,' 'Janmang Lupi' will inform about carbon-neutral actions.

Participants in the carbon-neutral action discovery game in the 'Carbon Neutral Game Zone' can receive eco-friendly Janmang Lupi pulp-type scrubs, limited to 1,000 per day. Visitors who share photos taken at the 'Photo Zone' on social media (SNS) will also receive a Janmang Lupi NFC keychain that connects to a Carbon Pay application for collecting carbon-neutral points.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will also conduct a 'Finding Janmang Lupi in Season' campaign from June to July. The plan is to emphasize carbon-neutral practices to protect the environment and resources available during each season.
