The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Regional Cultural Promotion Agency announced on the 22nd that they will accept applications for the '2025 Leisure-Friendly Certification' from corporations and institutions supporting workers' 'work-life balance' from the 23rd to the 30th of next month.
The Leisure-Friendly Certification System is a program that certifies corporations and institutions that support the harmonious balance of work and leisure. Introduced in 2012, a total of 607 corporations and institutions received certification by 2024.
Certified corporations and institutions will receive promotional support for leisure-related systems and cultural and leisure activities for three years. They will also be given priority support for government projects such as the artist dispatch support project and the youth-friendly small business initiative, and will be awarded extra points when applying for government certifications like the reading management excellent workplace certification and health-friendly corporation certification. Ten outstanding corporations and institutions will receive awards such as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award and the Regional Cultural Promotion Agency Award.
