Singer G-Dragon will launch a project to send music and a music video into space.

According to G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, on the 9th, G-Dragon is collaborating with KAIST to send music and a music video into space using Azure OpenAI Sora. Sora is an artificial intelligence (AI) service provided by Microsoft's Azure platform.

G-Dragon, who is also an invited professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST, noted that this attempt will mark a significant milestone in the future of 'entertain tech' encompassing space science, AI, and the entertainment industry.

The G-Dragon space music transmission project will take place at 8 p.m. at the KAIST Space Research Institute. In particular, this transmission is connected with NASA's SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project.

SETI is a historic project that sent music from the British rock band The Beatles into space, and G-Dragon will be the first from Korea to participate in the SETI project.
